Kinesso Obtains Great Place to Work™ 2022 Certification | News

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 1, 2022–

Kinesso, the Connected Intelligence Company, is proud to be Great Place to Work® Certified™. The prestigious award is entirely based on what current employees say about their experience working at Kinesso and its subsidiary Matterkind. This year, 86% of employees said it was a great place to work, 29 points higher than the average for American companies.

Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors proven to drive revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

“The Great Place to Work™ certification is not something that is easily obtained; it takes continued dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by real-time reports from employees about their company culture. Earning this designation means Kinesso is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

“We are thrilled to receive Great Place to Work certification,” commented Erica Schmidt, Global CEO of Matterkind and Chief Culture Officer of Kinesso. “Our employees are our greatest strength; something we’ve known since the very beginning, with the past two years having only served to reinforce our commitment to a top-notch culture, where team members feel truly valued and supported, both in their professional lives than personal. Having an inclusive work environment to work in and knowing that your company truly cares about you as an individual is not just an aspiration for us, it’s the standard we set for ourselves. We want our team members to feel valued and empowered to present themselves authentically every day, exactly as they are. We are grateful to our Kinesso and Matterkind employees for their role in securing this honor.

Over the past two years, while navigating the changes of a global pandemic, Kinesso has been reviewing its “staff best practices.” This process included Kinesso’s Flexible by Design program, empowering employees to make their own decisions about working remotely or from the office, giving them the ability to connect and collaborate in person, while ensuring that employees feel supported in their need to put family involvement and health issues first.

Additionally, stories of social unrest, social injustice, and racial discrimination littered the landscape in the United States, and Kinesso quickly realized the need to build an infrastructure to truly support team members holistically, and not simply respond to their concerns and needs. at work, but also by meeting them where they needed support to show up the most in their personal lives.

As a result, another area Kinesso has tackled has been adding wellbeing as a pillar of its “people best practices” by developing tools to tackle burnout across the organization with the help of the recognized expert consultant, Dr. Kim Hires. This has equipped global leaders with the tools to have meaningful mental health conversations with their team members through MHFA training that helps leaders recognize the signs and symptoms of a potential mental health issue.

Finally, in partnership with Acxiom (a sister company of IPG), the Kinesso Talent team successfully launched a “Leading from the Distance” course, with the focused objectives of having an open conversation about the importance of leadership in the remote environment; define the concept of empathetic leadership; and provide leaders with tools to effectively develop and support their teams.

“Kinesso’s Talent team has worked tirelessly over the past two years to pivot our offices to remote working, address the challenges of maintaining collaboration within teams, and provide support to our employees, both at work than at home, in these incredibly turbulent times,” said Renu Hooda, director of talent at Kinesso. “I couldn’t be more proud of what they have accomplished for our company, and especially for our employees. »

According to research from Great Place to Work, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss in a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees in certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of company profits and have a fair chance of getting a promotion.
